Welcome to the B.Johnston & Co Blog!

Let’s talk about creativity. Specifically, what it takes to be inspired, embark on new endeavors and pursue passion projects. These are the things that fill our soul. Doing what we love most and finding purpose in our everyday lives. By no means am I saying it’s a simple task, but it’s more easily attainable when you are armed with the knowledge and belief in the things you are most passionate about.

Over the course of my life, I’ve been fortunate enough spend the time doing the things I find value in. Whether it’s been through my career, my side hobbies, or finding other ways of inspiration in the world around me. And for that, I am always thankful.

So, what’s my point? A big part of what helps us find that “spark” is learning how to think creatively. I know what you’re thinking, “Easy for you to say, you’re already creative!” But I’m here to tell you – whether you are a seasoned pro or, just starting out, constantly learning new things and stepping out of your comfort zone will help you do just that. Being creative is something I believe anyone can do and I can only hope I inspire you to do the same.

So here we are.

In the course of starting this blog, my aim is to bring you the inspiration, knowledge and tools to help you pursue the type of work you’re most passionate about and more importantly how you communicate that to the world. Whether you are starting a new business, developing your own personal brand, adding to your creative skillset or, mustering up the courage to wander into the unknown depths of the creative world.

I still have so much I want to learn and here I hope you will share this journey with me. So roll up those sleeves, get those creative juices flowing and dive right in. Play around, experiment and most importantly – believe in yourself, you got this.

Until next time,

Britt
